Glocks were adopted by alot of law enforcement agencies to replace revolvers, Training was lacking and what there was probably wasnt great.
Cop gets issue gun slaps in a magazine locks and loads holsters, works his shift, draws gun drops mag racks slide, catches that round he is accountable for sticks it back into the top of the magazine secures gun. Next day repeat, over and over for the next 6 months till qualification time not noticing the bullet is setback pretty deep in the case. pulls out gun and KABOOM, Then like good Americans we run off to look for someone to suit. Must be the gun, must be the ammo, must be the guy that runs the range, or the janitor, or the fumes from the pinesol in the bathroom, anything but our own incompetence.

Good point about the repeatedly chambering the same round over and over and pushing the bullet back into the case. Some factory fodder is not even taper crimped and I've seen the bullet get pushed back into the case after just one or two chamberings.

But it's still ammo related, not Glock related...

Taking the shooting part fwiw when one looks at glocks and safety they are top notch.

I and others I know have shoot more rounds through Glocks than any sane person so it would go to say more than someone trashing them. Most pistols will fire out of battery and that is what causes case rupture often times. There are many reasons for this but usally not related to the pistol/pistol design though the Glock is designed to fire when others will choke.

Things I have come to grips with - chamber check even factory ammo (both WW Bulk 40 and Rem UMC in Sig I have found out of speck ammo to include upside down primers from time to time. Keep the firearm or at least the chamber clean with good recoil springs. Guess wha? It should be the same with shooters of all firearms not just Glocks.

Glock bashing is like bashing reheads. I like the redheaded ladies and I like Glocks. I can own any firearm and I chose Glock after owning and shooting many others. Glock has a record like no other considering how many have been sold, How many are used have been used by LEOs.

Anyone can use the stump to get attention look at this countries President.
