I thought about it but I just really didn't have the time and didn't know what the the venue was going to be like...

I know Blake and J.J. personally and they are truly "Top Shots". I don't know Mike Seeklander but I thought he got dealt a bad hand by being voted off by a dumb ass spotter and what? A plumber?

Bottom Line: I think Mike and his "It's-No-Fault-Of-Mine" spotter should have been in the shoot off. But Mike handled himself well, too (better than I would have ) so Hats off to him for that!!

Oh, well, at least we're watching Shooting and not Opra!!

First off, BOTH teams should have used the exact SAME gun(s). I thought it looked like one of the M1903 Springfield's had a hooded front sight...one didn't???

I'd like to see a re-run of the show, just to be sure. But at least we seeing competition shooting on TV!!

Yeah, but like, what's the point of the show anyway? To determine the best all around shooter or what?

I think it's to determine the best ALL AROUND shooter/archer/spear thrower/rock chucker, etc...

The shows are on hulu.com now so you can watch, review and even pause them.

But a note, most reality shows have tons of video and they sort through it to make the most entertaining show which usually isn't the most accurate in terms of what really happened.

Still, I'm one that is glad to have another show involving shooting at all.

The newest version of this show is up at http://www.history.com/shows/top-shot

I personally have been in firearms a long time and shot many many firearms because of my overseas work and experience, so I'm out on this one.
But for those whom it is a hobby or just self defense (doesn't sound right eh?) wouldn't you want, at the very least, to learn the main battle rifle platform of the USA? I was shocked at the lack of understanding of the AR platform in this one. I mean all these guys are shooters right?
