I decided against ordering the Pay Per View event, so I had to settle for the post fight reviews this morning. Anyone actually watch the fights? If so, any thoughts?
One thing that continues to astound me is the trends of the Brazilian fighters. Half the main card fighters were Brazilian, and 3 of the 5 main card fights featured wins by Brazilian fighters. The first thought might be they are using superior jiu jitsu (owing to the reputation of Brazilian jiu jitsu), and that may be part of the story, but 2 of the 3 wins were by strikes, so they are definitely doing more than jiu jitsu.
Now I can't wait to see the WEC Faber vs Pulver fight on 1 June. At least we get this one free on VS, and don't have to pay $45 for pay per view to see 30 sec, Round 1 knockouts...
