Colt Government Model Mark IV/Series 70

The box says Model 1971. That may be the year of manufacture, but I would be guessing.

I am offering three separate Colts for sale. I purchased all three as a lot from a retired Marine Corps GySgt who worked for me as a Government Service (GS) civilian when I was still on active duty. His name is Ken.
Ken and his father collected firearms together as a father/son hobby. When the father died, Ken decided to sell them off and put the money elsewhere. Ken and his father bought these three Colts new. When I bought them from Ken, he advertised them to me as new, in the box, unfired. The actions have been cycled. If Ken and his father put a couple of rounds through them and cleaned them thoroughly then lied to me, I can’t tell. They appear to me to be unfired.
