Sig 556

Anyone tried the Sig 556 yet? I looked at one last weekend and they look solid (not that I expected otherwise). Frankly I'm intrigued by the gas piston design, but haven't experienced it in person to decide if it's a better widget or not.

I got some trigger time at the Vicker's Carbine Class.

I can't say much about the mechanism, the trigger was nice but overall I didn't like the feel. The front end was WAY too unbalanced/heavy you had to fight it much more than an AR.

I think the piston concept is sound, they just haven't come out with the definitive platform in 5.56.
