What's the take on Appendix carry, I'm pretty jolly so I wonder if that's more for you skinny dudes.
It looks really uncomfortable, but that could be wrong.
Does anyone do it?

I've tried that carry position and it's not too bad when you are upright. Sit down and it's very uncomfortable. I'd rather carry crossdraw if I had to postion the gun to the front.
On a side note, I just belatedly realized I'm going to have to learn to draw left handed. I get surgery on my right shoulder on 10 Sep, and I won't be able to use my right arm for a couple weeks. I've simply shot left handed, but never drawn and fired left handed, so this should be fun :)

"Appendix Carry" is my primary means of concealed carry whenever I want to carry my G-26. I have a Backwoods leather holster which clips on and off my belt quickly and easily. I find that sitting down is alittle more uncomfortable than standing, however, I can adjust the gun once I sit down to make it alittle more comfortable. If I'm on a road trip, I'll loosen my belt one notch. I find the appendix carry to be very fast also. In fact, whenever I use my G-26 at a TSA match, I use the appendix carry.
Lately, I've been using my Raven concealment holster. I wear it just behind my right hip. It's not as fast as the appendix carry, however, I find it to be super comfortable! The only drawback is that the holster is much more difficult to put on than my appendix rig.
My other primary means of carry is with a .32 Auto Keltec w/Crimson Trace laser in my front pocket. I find that to be a great carry method whenever I'm either lazy and don't feel like carrying a larger gun, or when my clothing would prohibit my G-26. I know it's a small caliber, but the way I look at it....it's better than a no-caliber, lol. Plus, I practice with it and can pump 8 rounds center mass at 15' at light speed. In addition, I ALWAYS carry a spare mag when I carry my Keltec because it is so small and convenient, which is something I don't do when I carry my G-26. (I know, I know, your always supposed to carry a spare mag, flashlight, etc....)

I've tried appendix carry and find it very uncomfortable and not very concealable. Putting the gun at 4:00 allows me to carry a full sized .45 or 9mm with little trouble. I think appendix carry could work with a pocket sized gun, but then, why not just toss it in a pocket?
