DR, I need to see those pics again of the G-Lock work you do...

Damn, I gave up Weaver, and my 1911's and now I'm shooting G-Locks, I think I need therapy now! :o

Here's a view of the Flat Back Strap Mod I do which changes the grip angle (make the gun point lower) and prevents slipping around into the over grip position.

The one on the left has the Flat Back Strap Modification.

I was looking at the 1911 with the caspian frame you built and noticed the rear sight didn't have dots. Do you prefer just using the notched rear with high viz front for when you use your sights?

Do you think 3 dot sights are less accurate at longer distances because the shooter tends to use the dots instead of the top edge of the front sight?

Those are Pro Sights that I designed. That particular configuration was used by Daniel Horner to win a Nationals and a couple of World Championships. He set the record for accuracy at the Winchester World Challenge with it.

I don't know of any Top Shooter who ever used 3-dots to win a National or World Championships. Square notch sights always shoot better when flat black.

I can't say enough about that G-Lock grip reduction on my wife's 19 and my 34.

Not only if you have small hands like we do, but it drops that muzzle to the perfect angle. It fits perfectly in the hand.

That second 1911 looks like it has a bar on the rear sight.

Yes, that's the Pro-Sight V-DOT. Here's one on a Glock:

EAA WITNESS Custom Gun Work...

I have been shooting these guns for years and really love them. They are made by Tanfoglio of Italy and imported by EAA. I call them a"Ferrari in the rough" and once tuned and properly setup they run, and run and run.

Barb and I have won ALL our major match titles using a basic model, fixed sight, steel frame in 9mm (photo to follow shortly).

The NEW Model Witnesses are ALL large frame (only about .100" longer from front strap to back strap) and the barrels are MUCH better than the old ones.

Trigger jobs are bear to do, but they come out nice. Here's the price list for custom work:

Combat Carry Trigger Job (4-4.5# SA Pull) = $95*

Combat Match Trigger Job (3-3.5# SA Pull) = $125*

Super Match Single Action Trigger Job (2-2.5" SA pull) = $145*

*Labor ONLY, parts extra if required.
