How to protect a child during a robbery?

Question: How does one protect a small child when being robbed? :eek:

I've been thinking about it for a while now. I don't want to endanger a baby or small child. So, what should I do or more importantly what should I NOT do? :confused:

Well, the first thing to do is to avoid it...:cool:

The next thing NOT to do is DO NOT use the baby as a human shield. :eek:

The motherly instinctive thing to do is pick the baby up in your arms and turn away from the threat while using the Nike Maneuver and UNASS THE AREA. :eek:

But as far as tactics go, it really all depends on the situation. There's things to take into consideration like the age and size of the child; the location of the incident, number of threats, etc... :cool:

These things are best addressed in a FoF class with role players, SIMS or Air Soft...
