OK, I'm about to build my dream blaster AR-15
What's the best stock to get and and why? Fore end? Pro's & cons?

The why is up to you. Do you want railed or non-railed? FF or not? I'd advise against a "drop-in" rail. There is no such thing as "best" people chose different things based on their needs. In general whenever you're considering a purchase there are two main questions: 1. What is my (realistic) intended use? 2. How much do I want to spend?
Magpul, LaRue Tactical, KAC, Troy, Daniel Defense, LMT, VLTOR, BCM, Viking Tactics, Tango Down and others make quality furniture for a variety of price points.

My preference on "fighting" rifles is a Magpul CTR stock and Larue forend. After years of using everything under the sun, I've pretty much standardized on that setup.

What about the triangular shaped stocks that have a place to store batteries? I think that would have to be a good cheek weld  What's the best one to get?

There art several stocks out there now with storage compartments. I just ordered a VLTOR myself.
Now, what do I do about slings???

Viking Tactics or Vickers tactical make the two best slings IMO.
Vltor mod or emod stocks are great for storage and yes it's a much nicer cheek weld. Other good models are the SOPMOD by LMT or the Magpul ACS.
That said my fav all around stock is the Magpul CTR.
