Here's a shot of the Top Lady shooter using it:

I used to, but since Fist-Fire is a "One Size Fit's All" system it's not really necessary. We have enough ranges on our private facility that we can separate the shooters into groups if need be. All the courses now offered are co-ed.
My wife Barb (a National & World Champion shooter in her own right) also helps teach:

Fist-Fire Instructor Barb Middlebrooks protects the baby as she engages the Bad Guys at the S&W ACADEMY.

Do you separate the husbands from the wives? I heard you did...

Only when they're in a clinch... ;)
Yes I do separate them. I find the husbands tend to worry about the wives too much. Husbands need to concentrate more on what they are doing and not what she is doing.
Same goes for the wife/girl friend/significant other. Let me worry about them. You pay attention to what you are doing and concentrate on learning the techniques. You'll also enjoy yourself more.

I think wives also have too much emotional investment if they feel like their significant other is watching.
I tried to teach my wife how to drive a stick shift and boy was that an ugly fight.
As D.R. said it's best to make sure that everyone is focused on learning and shooting.

I'd say this is a very good idea, and I agree completely with John's comment about trying to teach his wife how to drive a stick shift. I had the same problem trying to teach my wife how to drive. It was horrible. I ended up having someone else teach her. It worked out MUCH better.:D

I'm often asked this:
"Who do you think is easier to teach? Women or men?"
In general, I think the women take shooting instruction better.

Why do you suppose that is? I ask because I've had similar experiences with the new lady shooters.

I'd like to chime in here and say that I think it is because women come in with an open mind and no preconceived testosterone enhanced notion that they already know how to do it....like most men do even if they don't admit it.
